A Ten-Minute Daily Warmup
A short, repeatable warmup to run before every rehearsal or service.
Duration · 09:18 Published · January 22, 2026
The routine
- Two minutes of quiet, low-volume humming through the whole range.
- Three minutes of lip trills on a five-note ascending scale.
- Three minutes of “ng” slides connecting head and chest voice.
- Two minutes of the song you’re about to sing, at half volume.
Why this order
Each step unlocks the next. Skipping the humming makes the lip trills tight; skipping the trills makes the slides wobble; skipping the quiet pass at the end means your first loud note of the rehearsal is cold.
